SkiinOBS SYSTEM CHECK

Check streaming settings for your PC

The GPU tiers shown are reference points, not minimum requirements. We recommend 16GB or more of RAM. OBS at 60fps with a 30fps camera is fine; if a game is demanding, lower the camera FPS or encoder settings to leave more GPU headroom. Multistreaming needs more GPU, CPU, and upload headroom than a single stream, and combining it with game streaming is especially demanding.

Follow each platform’s published limits first. For encoder settings the platform does not specify, the values shown here are tuned for GPU headroom and stability when used with SkiinOBS. On services such as TikTok, where conditions can vary by account or streaming method, use the values shown on the platform’s go-live screen.

Platform note:

Start here and test before going live. Actual load varies by game, OBS, SkiinOBS, drivers, and network.

Still unstable after changing the settings?

OBS issues can come from more than OBS itself — GPU, drivers, camera, audio, USB, and network can all be involved. OBS Doctor helps narrow down likely causes.
